Refrets and Recrowning

Worn frets flatten your tone, cause buzzing, and make bends and intonation feel inconsistent no matter how good your setup is. A full refret pulls the old frets, levels and preps the fretboard, and installs new wire sized to match your playing style — from vintage-narrow to modern jumbo — before each fret is seated, trimmed, and dressed for smooth, buzz-free playability edge to edge. We finish with a proper fret-end polish and setup so the neck plays evenly from the first fret to the last. Sometimes a partial refret is all that is needed. Whether your frets are simply worn from years of playing, you have some high loose frets, or your fretboard needs more extensive work along the way, we treat every refret as a chance to make your guitar play better than it did the day it left the factory.
